Meiji’s Takenoko no Sato (meaning "Bamboo Shoot of the Village") are delicious sweet snacks that are made to look like cute little bamboo shoots, with a milk chocolate "bamboo shoot" and crunchy biscuit "stalk" - a very tasty combination! This pack has 'Carefully Selected Ingredients' the chocolate is moderately sweet using Venezuelan cacao beans and the stalk is made using whole wheat flour and hazelnuts giving them a real elegant flavour. They come in an easy to open presentation box. Even the inner foil packaging is cute with a lovely woodland home design. It makes a lovely gift, but you might not be able to resist keeping it for yourself!
