Hello lovely everyone, Devon here! As today is officially the start of summer, we thought it's about time we give you our latest snack recommendations! Team Tofu have been sampling snacks for over a decade, so it's safe to say we're snacking experts.
We hope this summer you can find time to kick back and treat yourself to something delicious. Whether you're into refreshing beverages, chewy sweets, savoury snacks or something else, we've got something new for you to try! |
These bite-size mochi rice cakes from Taiwan come in a few different flavours, but the banana one is perfect for summer as the fruity flavour helps to transport your mind and your tastebuds to a tropical island. It’s also a bonus that banana is one of my favourite flavours!
These mochi have soft and chewy rice cake dough on the outside, and a white chocolate banana filling on the inside, which is very satisfying if you have a sweet tooth. It comes with 8 in a pack (my lucky number!) and my pro-tip would be to pop them in the fridge for at least an hour before eating, to turn them into a cooling snack. Or you can even put them in the freezer, for mochi ice cream vibes!

Mogu Mogus are the perfect drink for a hot day in the sun, they have a super fruity flavour with delicious coconut jelly bits inside which makes them even tastier; it’s like having a snack & drink all in one bottle!
With the many flavours we have my favourite is the Mango, with watermelon close behind, but to be honest it’s hard to go wrong with any of them! When perfectly chilled, Mogu Mogu is so refreshing and is hard to beat. I’d recommend these to anyone that enjoys fruity treats and with all the flavours to choose from, it’s hard to pick just one! |

Hi-Chew is renowned for being a ridiculously juicy chewy sweet with intense flavour and all the flavours we stock are staff and customer favourites, but I think the Passionfruit flavour is the perfect delicious tropical punch to the palate.
Hi-Chew are similar to a Fruittella or Chewits chewy candy and pack loads of flavour. They contain real fruit juice and the Passionfruit one even has Passionfruit seeds in each chew.
You’ll want to savour every chew in the packet and on a warm sunny day you could even pop them in the fridge to cool them for an even more refreshing snack.
We also have an assortment of other great Hi-Chew mini flavours including Peach, Strawberry and Grape that are all delicious. |

If you're looking for a must-try, these Hatsune Miku sodas are definitely one to consider! I'm pretty sure Hatsune Miku could be slapped on just about anything and I'd want it, but these drinks are actually pretty tasty! The flavours are refreshing and light, with just the right amount of sweetness. The drinks themselves are pink, so if you pour them into your favourite fancy glass, you could make yourself a pretty and summery drink!
Drinks and snacks like these are often only available for a limited time, so if you'd like one (or both) of these super cute cans in your collection, please do grab one before they're gone! I recommend enjoying them chilled whilst playing your favourite Vocaloid song or rhythm game~ |
