Meiji’s Takenoko no Sato (meaning "Bamboo Shoot of the Village") are delicious sweet snacks that are made to look like cute little bamboo shoots, with a chocolate "bamboo shoot" and crunchy biscuit "stalk" - a very tasty combination! They come in an easy to open presentation box. Even the inner foil packaging is cute with a lovely woodland home design. It makes a lovely gift, but you might not be able to resist keeping it for yourself!
This 'Otona' version comes in a rich dark chocolate flavour rather than the standard milk, with a delicious cocoa biscuit.
Ingredients: Sugar, cacao mass (2.7% Dominican Republic cocoa beans, 2.7% Madagascan cocoa beans), wheat flour, milk powder, vegetable oil, shortening, egg white, cocoa powder, almond paste, cocoa butter, skimmed milk powder, lactose, salt, spice, emulsifier (soybean), perfume, leavening agent agent. |
