Kit Kats in Japan have been given a gourmet makeover compared with the plain flavours available in the UK and Europe! The Japanese branch of Nestlé is very famous for producing small bars of extremely high quality Kit Kats in a variety of sophisticated (and often very unusual!) seasonal flavours. This set of 2 rare Baked Custard Pudding flavoured Kit Kats is extremely special - this chocolate bar is specifically designed to be baked in the oven! You can of course eat them unbaked, but if you make the small effort you will be rewarded with a delicious caramelised outer shell, similar to crème brûlée. Nestlé recommends to chill them first, then remove them from the packaging and lay them on a sheet of foil on a baking tray. Slip them into a non-preheated oven or grill on a medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the top bubbles and turns golden brown. Take them out and let them cool down, then enjoy your delicious home-baked Kit Kats!
