Standard delivery is a simple, great value service with a delivery aim of just 3 to 4 business days. Saturday isn’t counted as a proper business day, however your order may arrive on a Saturday. Most standard deliveries are sent via Royal Mail.
Need you order slightly quicker? Express UK Delivery is just £2.99 and takes between 2 to 3 working days. Please note that standard and express deliveries usually arrive within the times stated but are not guaranteed

Special delivery
For urgent orders, you can select Royal Mail Special Delivery for delivery the next business day if your order is placed by 2pm. For orders placed after 2pm, please allow one extra day. You will receive a unique tracking number (can be looked up in My Account) to use here.

Special Delivery is guaranteed by 1pm next business day (Monday to Friday) to over 95% of UK addresss, and 5.30pm to others. Click here for further info. If your order is dispatched on a Friday there is a possibility it will arrive on the Saturday, but this is not guaranteed. For guaranteed Saturday delivery, please contact us.

The cost - from £4.99 - will be automatically calculated in the shopping cart, based on the weight of your order.

We’re pleased to offer our kawaii items to customers in over 35 countries all around the world! If you’d like to place an order but your country is not available at the checkout, please contact us and we’ll add it if possible.

Standard airmail
Royal Mail standard airmail is the most economic option for international delivery. There is no tracking number supplied with this service. The estimated delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks (usually nearer to 1 week for Europe), but please allow up to 3 weeks for certain destinations.

The cost is automatically calculated in your shopping cart, based on the delivery country and the weight of your order. You can find a basic guide to prices below:

Premium airmail
Premium airmail is the cost of Standard airmail, plus around £5 GBP. You will receive a unique tracking number (which can be looked up in My Account) to use here. There are two types of Premium airmail:

Airsure - Trackable all along the route, and one or two days faster than Standard airmail. This is the method we use for Premium airmail delivery to: Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland & USA.

International Signed For - Trackable whilst parcel is in the UK. Same delivery time as Standard airmail, but priority handling and registered delivery for peace of mind. This is the method we use for Premium airmail delivery to any country that isn’t in the Airsure list above.
General delivery info
How long does dispatch take?
We aim to send orders placed by 2pm Monday to Friday on the same day. The 2 to 3 business day estimate for Express UK delivery includes the dispatch time. Special delivery orders placed by 2pm are dispatched same day.

What if I'm out when it arrives?
If you’re out when your order arrives, the delivery person will either leave it with a neighbour, or post a slip giving you instructions on how to re-arrange delivery (or collect it from your local sorting office for Royal Mail UK orders). Other countries may have different procedures for this.

If you don’t want to miss your delivery, we recommend having it sent to an address where someone is always in, such as to a workplace or a relative.

My order hasn't arrived yet!
If your order doesn’t arrive in the expected time, please contact us for details on what to do next. To determine that a parcel is definitely lost, we generally ask that customers allow 10 days for orders sent via Standard UK delivery and 3 to 4 weeks for Airmail, before we are able to send a replacement order or issue a refund.

Packaging and sustainability
We take care when selecting order packing materials so that as well as making sure your items reach you safely and in good condition, we also minimise our impact on the environment. We use 4 main types of packaging:

Jiffy bags - these can be re-used for keeping delicate items safe or posting items. You can remove the bubble wrap lining to recycle the outer paper-based envelope.

Hard-backed envelopes - you can re-use these, and they are also fully recyclable with your paper/cardboard.

Cardboard boxes - these can be re-used or recycled, and many of the boxes we use are already made from cardboard formed from recycled post-consumer waste.

Plastic mail bags - we only use these occasionally, for soft items. They can be recycled along with your plastic carrier bags (facility available at most UK supermarkets).

Delivery addresses
You can have your order delivered to a different address to your billing address, which is particularly handy if you want to have it sent directly to a friend as a gift! Simply adjust your delivery address at the checkout.

Please double check that the delivery address is correct before placing your order, as unfortunately we will need to re-charge for delivery if an order is returned to us by the postal service due to incorrect address details. We will also need to re-charge for delivery if an order is returned due to non-collection from the sorting office.

Customs charges
International customers should be aware that some countries charge customs fees such as duty and import tax on items that are received into the country from abroad. The customer is responsible for paying any fees and taxes due. Tofu Cute is not liable for these, so we recommend that you check the rates and limits with your local customs office before placing your order.
