...that we've brought back!
Underrated classics!
Much like the Stationery section that we’ve given some love recently, we’ve been restocking plenty of our fan favourite Japanese snacks over the last few weeks, in addition to some new stuff. If you’ve been patiently waiting for one of your favourites to return, there’s a good chance we’ve recently added it back onto our online shop, or will do soon! With that said, I thought I should highlight some of our favourite underrated classics that you may have missed the first time round, all of which are available again in our Japanese Snacks section!
Kabaya Ju-C Soda Balls!
It’s one thing for something to be ‘Juicy’, and an entirely different thing for something to be Ju-C. The casual omission of several letters can only be understood as sheer, unbridled enthusiasm.

What you see is mostly what you get with this snack - it’s a collection of colourful, crunchy, candy pieces flavoured like different types of fruit and soda. It’s a small treat but it’s well worth your attention.
Every Burger Hamburger Biscuits
We regularly get caught up in the war between Mushrooms and Bamboos here at Tofu Cute, but did you know there’s an amazing third option when it comes to chocolate biscuit snacks? That’s right - Every Burger Hamburger biscuits are a perfect combo of crunchy biscuit and smooth chocolate. Obviously, they’re themed like burgers, which is kind of cute, and you get a whole box full of them! It’s certainly going to bring you a lot more joy than your average fast food hamburger.
Sakeru Gummy Stay Long Peeling Candy - Yakult
You might be familiar with the various grape and orange flavours of the classic Sakeru Gummy, but have you ever tried the Yakult flavour? I realise it doesn’t necessarily sound as delicious as those other flavours, but you might be surprised at how well the flavour of probiotic yoghurt drinks translates to the chewy texture of Sakeru gummy. It’s certainly a unique taste, but I think it’s well worth a try if you’ve enjoyed yoghurt drink (or other yoghurt drink flavoured candies) before, and even if you haven’t, why not give it a go?
Sangaria Bottled Ramune Drinks!
If you’re a fan of fizzy drinks, you don't want to miss out on this range of bottled ramune drinks by Sangaria, which we've recently restocked in all three of the flavours - original ramune, melon and grape. Each of these beverages comes in an aesthetic metal bottle that's filled with 500ml of delicious, bubbly goodness.

I personally think the melon one is the best, but each of them have their own unique charm. The grape one is a more intense flavour, whilst the ramune one is a little bit more subtle and has that classic ramune flavour that you may have gotten used to with various other candies that we stock.
Kabaya Summer Watermelon Candies
It's not quite the Summer yet, but there's still plenty of reasons to try these Kabaya Summer Watermelon Candies. If you've ever enjoyed a slice of watermelon, this candy is a close emulation of that feeling. Of course, it's a completely different texture, but in terms of watermelon candies, this is a pretty good one.

Each of these small candies comes shaped and coloured like a little wedge of watermelon, as if you'd sliced them from a tiny watermelon that also happened to be made out of candy and happiness. If that appeals to you, then all the more reason to try this underrated gem of a snack.
