Our Portsmouth shop has been open by appointment-only since August 2021, back when the pandemic meant we had to take extra precautions to keep our customers and Team Tofu safe. We kept the appointment system for a good long while and many of you booked in to come visit us! A year later, we’re very excited to say we’re finally FULLY OPEN! You can now stop by, say hello and browse our many cute goodies any time you desire~ (as long as we’re open, that is!)
Tofu Cute Portsmouth is home to Team Tofu, who have been eagerly awaiting the day we prop open our pink shop door again. During you visit, you’ll be served by Harley, Laska, Tae, Robb or sometimes Devon. (If you’re interested, you can find out more about each of us on our About Us page!) Upon your arrival, we’ll either open the door after you knock, or emerge mysteriously from the depths of the warehouse to greet you as you enter. At the back of the shop, you can see the super cute doors that lead to our office - we do many things in there, including picking and packing website orders. |

The walls of the shop are decorated with many cute posters. Be sure to take a look, as some show off special promotions like our current shop social media campaign where we’re giving out £5 vouchers to random customers who visit and share a picture on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook or YouTube!
We’ve filled every corner of the shop with tasty things and cuteness, but if there’s anything you’ve seen on our website that isn’t on the shop shelves, let us know and we’ll go grab it for you! We’re also on hand to answer any questions you may have, assist with opening bottles of ramune, or help pick out a name for your new plushie friend~ |

We now have a small ARTBOX area where we stock some character goodies from them, just like how they stock Tofu Cute items in their London Convent Garden store! You’ll usually find characters like Cinnamoroll, Pusheen, Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Gudetama, Totoro and more here. Although it’s a small selection, we update it regularly and there’s even exclusive items, like mocha flavoured Pusheen chocolate bars!
Another new addition is our Gachapon machines! We’ve set up some Gachapon machines at the back of the shop, stocked with the cutest series which we’ll rotate often. Right now you can try your luck with some Sailor Moon keychains, Sanrio or Pokémon mini figures, or flocked shiba inu cable bite figures! All you need to do is let us know which Gachapon you’d like to try and we’ll give you special coins for the machines. We hope you’ll enjoy collecting Gachapon capsule toys as much as we do! Finally, we’ve added a tall mirror and more Dreamy Bows items than ever before, so you can browse a selection of cute and unique Japanese clothing, accessories and more.

All throughout August we’re giving out DOUBLE Tomodachi Points on any purchases in our Portsmouth shop, so it’s the perfect time to stop by and treat yourself. If you aren’t a part of the Tomodachi Club yet, please join so you don’t miss out on exclusive offers and free goodies!
