To celebrate and get us hyped for another fun year, today we’ll be taking a look at some of Tofu Cute’s top 2022 moments~
At Minami Con, MCM London Comic Con and Hyper Japan, we were super hyped to set up and see you all again! Our stand was absolutely packed most of the time, which we were so grateful for. We made silly TikToks, helped a customer hold a scavenger hunt, cheered on our performing friends, bought goodies from amazing artists, took photos and had fun catching up with you all! We even had a silly Trick or Treat Lucky Dip box in October, which many of you enjoyed. Maybe we should do that again!
We’re blessed with many wonderful customers and friends who visit us, so we always know we’re gonna have a blast! We love showing you all the cute things we have with us, and we eagerly await seeing you at the next convention~

This was something we wanted to do for so long! We turned three of our prints (Alpaca Skies, Happy Pink Things and Panda Seedling Forest) into super cute T-shirts that everyone can enjoy! Some awesome creators helped us promote them, and seeing our customers wear them really makes us happy!
Just recently we made a completely new design our Pastel Friends T-Shirt, which Kiri designed the concept for and I put together! It features Alpaca & Hammy, sitting on a cloud, surrounded by stars and a rainbow~ We look forward to showing it off more, please go check it out! Working on these has made me wish we had a whole Tofu Cute clothing range…

Upon discovering that September 1st is National Tofu Day, we HAD to do something to celebrate! We set up a Tofu Day Scavenger Hunt where Tomodachi Club members were tasked with finding all seven RAINBOW TOFUS hidden on various pages of our site! Players had to avoid clicking on the Stinky Tofu, which would reset their progress. We gave hints on our Instagram story and had so much fun watching you all figure it out! I’d like to now present you with these never-before-seen stats!

With just a live stream or YouTube short here and there, Tofu Cute TV took a bit of a backseat while we made lots of fun TikToks this year. We’ve had a bunch of fun, but our YouTube channel has special place in Team Tofu’s hearts and we were super excited to make some new videos recently!
We returned with ‘Kawaii Gift Ideas for EVERYONE ♡ XMAS 2022’ where Bobu, Kiri, Laska and myself gave our top present recommendations, and ‘RAMUNE ROULETTE ★ Guess right, WIN BIG! ★’ in which Bobu and Laska showed us their best poker faces whilst sampling some mysterious beverages. Laska’s poker face was particularly impressive, as nobody has worked out the answer yet! |

Some of our best memories each year come from the competitions and contests we hold, and 2023 brought some of the cutest entries yet! We held three photography contests: ‘Pets & Plushies’, ‘Plush Adventures’ and ‘Tofu Cutemas’ - click each one to see the entries! We saw many cosy plush making festive memories, a blobfish on a boat, dinosaurs at the beach, a cute kitty with a barista hamster and much more! We love seeing your photos and they always make our day.
I’m surprised we didn’t have any illustration contests this year - we’ll have to get on that right away in 2023, we always get excited about your artwork! We even have a pin board in our shop filled with doodles and letters we’ve been sent by you all! <3 Artists, please look forward to our next contest!
