Welcome back to the Tofu Cute Blog, the only place on the entire internet where you’ll find reviews of the latest delicious drinks from Japan. The Tofu Cute Online Shop has recently added two new interesting beverages, so the responsibility falls on me to bear the burden of drinking and reviewing them, to provide a review for all of you. It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it. Today, we’re looking at two very refreshing sounding flavours with some interesting twists on classic drinks - Fanta White Peach and Cola Ramune!
You’re probably already familiar with the highly popular beverage brand Fanta. You may even be familiar with various varieties of Fanta from Asia that we stock at Tofu Cute before. But are you familiar with Peach Fanta? Because if you’re not, you’re missing out.
These light pink cans contain exactly what you’d expect, a carbonated liquid nectar that tastes exactly like peach. It’s not the ‘sweetest’ peach flavour I’ve ever had, but strikes an interesting balance between sweetness and a crisp, refreshing taste.
I made sure to serve this drink at an ice cold temperature, and even though it’s winter, I highly recommend doing that. I think being very cold actively enhances the experience of this drink quite a bit, sharpening the flavours somewhat, and I can only imagine how good it would be during the summer!
All in all, peach Fanta delivers in pretty much every way you need it to. This is genuinely the best peach soda I think I've ever tasted! I'd give it like a 9/10.

Ramune, the iconic ‘marble bottle’ drink from Japan, has lots of different flavours. Tofu Cute tries to sell as many of them as possible including classic types like original ramune, melon, strawberry, blueberry and more. This brand new flavour is cola, which may not sound like the most exciting new flavour from the outset, but appearances can be deceiving. This flavour surprised me, because whilst I enjoy cola flavours, there’s not many types of cola flavour I enjoy. With that being said, this new ramune certainly hits the spot!
Sealed with the iconic marble, this cola opens with a satisfying ‘pop’. It’s definitely more satisfying than opening a can or plastic bottle. The flavour of the drink itself is definitely a ‘lighter’ and very bubbly style of cola, which tastes incredibly refreshing straight out of the cold glass bottle or poured into a glass with ice. If you’re looking for something to give you a spike of sugar at the end of a long day, this is a pretty good choice.
If you’re specific with how you like your cola flavours or prefer ‘diet’ or ‘zero sugar’ brands, this ramune might not be everything you want it to be. But for those who enjoy that ramune bottle experience and long for a light, bubbly cola, you’re in luck! I'd give it a solid 8 out of 10 - I enjoyed the peach fanta more, but this is still a very reliable and fun drink option.

| At the time I’ve scheduled this blog to go up, I’m on holiday in Greece - I’ve taken some of both of these drinks with me in the hope they might help me cool down in warm weather.
