Charmed by Charms, Crazy For Keychains!
This week, we're offering 10% Off Amuse Charms, and next week, we're offering the same for Keychain plushies as part of AMUSE Lover's month - but which adorable AMUSE items should you pick? With only a few days left of the charms deal, and only a week of the Keychain discount, there's a lot of decisions to be made! Today's blog article is here to provide you with a few of our personal favourite picks of all different kinds of Charms and Keychains, with three unique recommendations from each category! From old classics like the Fuwamoko Natural Wooly to newer favourites like the Poodle Moka Chan Ribbon Keychain, Tofu Cute's got something for everyone. But which small AMUSE items are the cutest? It's time to find out.
Fuwamoko Natural Wooly Charm
Okay, so maybe this is cheating as we mentioned these cuties in the opening paragraph. But I described them as a 'classic' for a reason. Much like their larger counterparts, these adorable representations of sheep have a high quality 'wool' covering them, making these charms look and feel super soft, much like the Harin Hedgehogs which have a similar soft texture.

The various Wooly series by AMUSE have always been popular, and this charm set is no exception, as they are consistently popular both online and at events. If you like sheep then there's a chance you'll love these charms. If you don't like sheep, perhaps they'll win you over.
FusaFusa Tufty Dog Charm
These FusaFusa Tufty Dog charms are a personal favourite of mine - for dog lovers, it's the best 'charm' series you could possibly ask for. They're small, round versions of your favourite dog breeds, including a number of varieties that have never been seen in AMUSE Mameshiba series (even the bigger series such as the Large Set series which included dogs such as Pugs and Huskies). This series is all about variety, with 8 different series represented - Cavalier, Chihuahua, Bichon Frise, Papillon, Shih Tzu, Pomeranian, Yorkshire Terrier & Maltese. These dogs have plenty of cute details packed into them for small charms, such as the chihuahua's 'radar' ears and the cute bow on the top of the Yorkshire Terrier's head. This series comes in both full size and smaller puchimaru versions, and both are adorable.

There's plenty more to appreciate about these cute little dogs, but I think the true joy comes from finding your favourite type of dog amongst them, as it has a lot of breeds that are normally under-represented in AMUSE plush series. Find your favourite dog!
Puchimaru Fresh Vegetable Field Charms
If I had to pick a slightly unusual charm series to recommend, it'd be this one, which is a collection of cute vegetables with cute faces. Okay, it's not that odd, but I think there's something a little bit scary about the possibility of vegetables coming to life. I mean, just look at how angry the carrot is.

There's a lot to be said about this series of charms. Firstly, they're pretty cute, even if the carrot does seem to be a bit angry - they (mostly) have cheery expressions and they're very soft. Secondly, these charms are also really small, and one again pack in a lot of cute details - with each one being completely unique, they look great together - you can make your own salad of plush charms! If you're a big fan of a certain vegetable, or perhaps just vegetables in general, then this series is an excellent pick.
Harin Hedgehog Keychain
You've probably seen these cute hedgehogs on our social media a lot recently, because they're one of my favourite new AMUSE products. Although these are available in charm and small plush size as well, I personally think they're cutest at the keychain size.

These adorable 'Flower & Apple' Hedgehogs have a soft floral aesthetic and live up to their title - each colour variant will have either a flower crown or a red apple balanced delicately on their head, a lot like the AMUSE Namekemono Sloth Buddies series that has the same thing going on. These hedgehogs are super soft instead of having protective spikes, but you should still treat them with delicate care. These keychains make would make an adorable addition to all manner of things, or cute as a display on their own or with the other Hedgehog charms and small plush.
Hige Manju Edo Keychain
The different Hige Manju series by AMUSE are fairly consistently adorable, especially if you like cats. Even if you don't, you can't deny that there is a subtle charm to the plump, round cats and their often mischievous expressions. This series of Hige Manju keychains has the same appeal as all Hige Manju cats, but with the added bonus of an 'Edo period' aesthetic added to the mix.

Much like other AMUSE plush series with a Japanese theme like Matsuri Mameshibas or Folk Tale Mameshibas, these cute cats are wearing costumes inspired by Japanese tradition and history. There's an excellent mix of cute characters in this including a ninja, a thief and a samurai who each have unique accessories, as well as a cat wearing a Yukata and one that looks like a 'Kokeshi Doll'. Once again, you have to respect the craft and attention to detail that has gone into these plushies - each of these cats have so much personality!
Korohamu Fun Friends Keychain
This final key-chain recommendation has also been featured on our social media recently, because it's one of the best Korohamu AMUSE series to date. It's such a great series for two reasons. Firstly, the hamsters are eating some watermelon and kiwi slices, which look super adorable.

Secondly, this series introduces the world to two new characters in the Korohamu brand, the white chinchilla and the ginger & white bunny. These two new characters are super cute, and it's nice to see an AMUSE bunny character who isn't from the Usadama-chan or Loppy series (not that those series aren't great, but more bunnies is always a good thing, right?).
What Charms and Keychains Will you be picking up?
There's a huge variety, and these are only a few recommendations - they'd all be great AMUSE products to start with if you're new to collecting them, but of course, if you're a veteran collector, you'll probably want to spend this month expanding your collection and ignoring our recommendations. Either way, be sure to show us what you got a hold of during the first part of AMUSE Lover's Month, and if you agree with our recommendations or not - interact with us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram!~
