Petit Pastel is a delicious and cute chocolate snack, made in Japan by Kabaya. Each Petit Pastel is in the shape of an ice cream, and consists of a cone made from fine Japanese chocolate, and a round "scoop" topping with a crispy biscuit centre, a bit like Maltesers. The toppings come in five flavours/colours, and there are four different cone styles, giving a total of 20 possible combinations to find! Petit Pastel are rare in Europe, and are a fine example of Japanese packaging art; every side of the box, the inner foil and even the inside of the box are covered in adorable graphics. The box contains two separate sealed pouches, so you can eat one now and save the other for later - such a treat!
