We are looking for a talented Content Creator to join team Tofu at our Portmouth UK shop..
As a Content Creator, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our online narrative and engaging our audience across various platforms. From crafting informative and fun blog posts to curating engaging social media content, including cute reels and lives, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity while contributing to the growth and success of our company.
Whilst this position is mostly a creative role the job will include other duties such as helping the warehouse with dispatching orders, keeping the warehouse maintained, serving customers in the shop, helping with deliveries and attending events such as Comic Con and Hyper Japan.
We are currently also looking for a marketing and PR strategist, you will work closely with this individual
Responsibilities
•Develop engaging and creative content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
• Plan and schedule social media content calendars, ensuring consistent posting and coverage across platforms.
• Collaborate with the team in order to push sales of certain products.
• Write compelling and concise copy for captions, hashtags, and other text elements.
• Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and engage with the audience in a timely and professional manner.
• Create and run competitions.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance.
The ideal candidate
• Will have an interest in Japanese culture
• Genuine enthusiasm for the products
• Will have an eye for detail in order to create a visually aesthetic feed
• Excellent written communication skills in order to craft an engaging copy that captures kawaii whilst also maintaining a drive for sales
• Creative thinker with innovative content ideas.
• Data-driven mindset for optimizing content strategies.
• Collaborative team player across departments.

Shop and warehouse team member part time - Part Time - 14 hours a week |

Whether our customers are shopping online or in our Portsmouth store we aim to offer the most kawaii shopping experience, our team work very hard behind the scenes to make this happen.
We are looking for someone to join our team part time, this will include Saturdays where you will be working alone so we are looking for someone who is confident when dealing with customers as well as one day during the week which we would prefer to be a Monday, but this is negotiable.
Shop duties will include;
• Serving customers
• Cash handling including cashing up
• Answering customers product enquiries and recommending products
• Cleaning and topping up the shop
Warehouse duties will include;
• Printing and picking online orders
• Labelling snacks and plush
• Stock rotation
• Accepting deliveries which can be heavy.
• Gift wrapping
As this role includes lone working we are looking for someone who is 18+, enthusiastic about our products, punctual and is able to manage their own time and tasks.
We also attend events such as Comic Con and Hyper Japan so you may be involved with helping to pack for these events and there is an opportunity for you to attend them if interested.
