Catching them All
If you're a long-time reader of the Tofu Cute Blog (and if you are, thank you, I appreciate the support) then may already be aware of my attempts to rank every flavour of Puccho and every flavour of Kit Kat.

Instead of being totally predictable and ranking all flavours of Ramune or all Meiji products, today we're only going to be a little bit predictable and also make things a bit more difficult for ourselves by ranking *all of the Pokémon themed snacks* we have, which of course come in all different types. If you're feeling the Poké-hype after the release of Detective Pikachu in cinemas, then consider this the definitive guide to Tofu Cute's growing collection of Pokémon snacks - you might find something you're interested in! You can also read on to find out all about a fantastic Pokémon snacks giveaway that we're holding at MCM London. Woo!
6th Place - I Love Pikachu Grape Gummy Mini Pack
I'd like to start this list by saying that none of these Pokémon snacks are actually bad at all, and even though these 'I love Pikachu' Grape Gummies rank in 7th place for me, that doesn't mean I dislike them. These cute Pikachu shaped grape flavoured gummy sweets are definitely a tasty treat, and the Pikachu packaging that they come in is very vibrant and cute, especially if you 'love pikachu', like the name of the snack.

The grape flavour is somewhere between the classic sweet grape flavour you might expect and the actual flavour of a grape, but it's closer to authenticity than most. If you're a big fan of grape & Pikachu, this snack is literally the perfect thing for you, and at great value, too! I give it 5 out of 5 Grapes.
5th Place - Pokemon Cookie & Chocolate Wafer with Sticker
If you're in a more chocolatey mood when hunting for delicious Pokémon treats, then this 'Cookie & Chocolate Wafer' snack will probably interest you, as this combines a thin but smooth layer of milk chocolate and tiny cookie pieces inside two delicious wafer biscuit squares. It's honestly actually one of the best wafers I've ever had, with real quality chocolate, which you would expect from the Japanese confectioner Lotte.

But the real draw of this snack, perhaps, is the free sticker that comes with it. For the fans of the new Pokémon Sun & Moon games or anime, these stickers are pretty awesome, as they feature a wide variety of the new Pokémon from that generation, as well as the 'alolan forms' of first generation classics - there's 24 designs in total to collect, and all of them are super cute. I just ate one (it was delicious) and got a Pikachu sticker. Nice.
4th Place - Pokemon Sun & Moon Chocolate Cookies
This next Pokémon treat is also Sun & Moon themed and Cookie themed, but it is perhaps in my view a bit more delicious than the chocolate wafer. This super colourful bag contains a whole bunch of individually wrapped double chocolate cookies, made with a chocolatey dough and containing whole chunks of milk chocolate. They're very very tasty, you might even say that they're a little bit addictive.

Each cookie is lovingly wrapped in a packaging that not only preserves the freshness but also gives you a cute Pokémon to look at. There's a variety of different designs in this bag (although I do always seem to get more of the electric Pokémon Rotom in its Pokédex form). It's a really satisfying snack, and the fact that it happens to be Pokémon themed is just a lovely extra.
3rd Place - Karipori Pokémon Fruit Candy Sticks & Pokemon Cola Chewing Candy
In joint third place, we have two snacks that are flavoured like soda - in many ways these two snacks complete each other, as one is very soft and chewy, and the other is very crunchy and zesty.

Karipori, if you've never tried it, is quite difficult to explain but well worth discovering with your own tastebuds. They're thin sticks in a similar shape to pocky or pretz, but made entirely out of hard candy that fizzes in your mouth as you bite into it with a nice snap. If for some reason you don't like Pokemon (if so, what are even doing reading this blog? It's only about Pokémon snacks!) then we also have Karipori without the Pokémon theming, but that's way less cool. These Karipori boxes come adorned with your favourite Legendaries from Sun & Moon, as well as Pikachu and the Sun & Moon starter Pokémon Rowlett, Popplio & Litten.

The Pokémon Cola Chewing Candy has a bit more variety in its visuals, with Pokémon from a wider variety of eras on its packaging. As you unwrap any of the several pieces ready to chew, you'll see lots of different Pokémon. The candy itself is a familiar cola taste with the texture of chewing gum without being chewing gum, which is quite pleasant. It's a bit like if cola Puccho was flattened out into one long strip, and as you may already know, I love Puccho.
2nd Place - Pokémon Chocolate Snack Box with Sticker
In the coveted 2nd place position, we have the Pokémon Chocolate Snack Box with Sticker, which in my personal opinion brings all the best elements of other Pokémon snacks on this list together, like the Wafer, this set also comes with a sticker, but the selection of stickers I would describe as being a lot stronger than the wafer's selection of stickers. You can see in this image that the stickers are a little bit more diverse, with a few different generations represented.

The snack itself is produced by the Japanese confectionery company Tohato, who are perhaps best known for being the creators of Caramel Corn. This snack definitely is similar to caramel corn in some ways, with sweetness combined with crunchy corn. For some reason, this snack almost reminds me of certain types of breakfast cereal - it tastes like chocolate, is very crunchy and something I could personally eat lots of. You get a large quantity for the size of the box which are sealed for freshness within, which despite being a completely different shape, is coloured like a Pokéball, which is a cute touch.
1st Place - Pikachu Evolving Taste Ramune Candy
Pikachu Evolving Taste Ramune Candy. It's the best Pokémon snack, and that's a fact. Many of you may be shaking your heads in disagreement right now, but lets be honest - no other Pokémon candy captures the theme of Pokémon as elegantly as this snack does - it 'evolves' just like Pokémon do, and what could be more appropriate than that?

But even outside of its main gimmick of an 'evolving' taste, you get a very delicious treat for a great value, with a few of these long-lasting candy treats that, as if by magic, really do change flavour as the diagram on the packaging would suggest. Each taste is a delicious one, with sweet strawberry and refreshing watermelon & melon flavours. I'm biased towards watermelon, so perhaps that's why this is my favourite.
Pokémon Ocean Bomb Cans
Of course, it wouldn't be Tofu Cute content about Pokemon if we didn't mention our eternally popular selection of Ocean Bomb Pokémon cans. I didn't think it was fair to put these collectively on the list because they're all so different and unlike the rest of the list as beverages rather than snacks.

These adorable cans feature your favourite Pokémon on colourful cans of flavoured sparkling water. There's all kinds of different flavours which each correspond to a different Pokémon. They're great for collectors who want to get all the different Pokémon as they look great when displayed!
