Charms Competition Winners!
Charms Competition Winners!

Charms week is over, and whilst we were trying to spread the 'joy of the charms' to the world, you were all busy coming up with brilliant ways to use a charm to add to our already comprehensive video about charms. Whilst Devon managed to come up with 50 uses for plush charms in the Tofu Cute TV Video, collectively, you've probably managed to come up with at least 50 more - well done! If you've been included on this list, we'll be in contact with you within the next 24 hours to arrange your prize!

So it's clear that charms are useful. But what were the best new uses we saw this charms week? Here's what we managed to find!
5th Place!
Our 5th place suggestion comes from Instagram user daisyvalerianbishop! Here's the way they use charms:

'To differentiate between whose dog lead is who's when they're hanging up! Helpful and cute because the dogs get to choose their favourite character. '

What a cute idea! We love the idea of a dog having their own favourite charm - it's super adorable, and also a great way to identify your dog leads. Be sure to let us know if your dog has a favourite charm!
4th Place!
Our 4th place entry is from the Instagram user birdsndbun who gives an excellent use of charms:

I can use them as an excuse to get more things from tofu cute. Collect them all!

While this is a bit of an abstract use, we can certainly support it. We love the idea of using the loneliness of your charms to justify getting more of them - everyone deserves an excellent (growing collection) of charms.
3rd Place!
Our 3rd place pick is an excellent pun as well as being a good suggestion, it comes from Instagram user smecerulean:

Your Muse!

The term 'muse' refers to something that gives you a form of artistic inspiration. A muse can come in many different forms, and when they're associated with our plush charms, it also makes a funny pun on the brand name AMUSE. We love puns, so we had to include this entry on our list. My personal muse is this korohamu with a watermelon slice - he had a goal, and he achieved it.
2nd Place!
Our second place entry comes from Instagram user chayla_bear_:

Secret messenger. Tie up a note to your fuzzy little friend. And hang it on your friend or loved one's work space.

This wonderful suggestion makes the number two spot because it's just a really cute idea. It adds some kawaii flair to the subtle art of leaving secret messages of encouragement & support, and it's a great way to use your charms.
1st Place!
Our first place entry, and the winner of a charm of their choice is this entry by Instagram user milly_mittens which is hilarious and cute in equal measure:

Attach as many as you can together (let's say approximately 2 bundles of 6-8) and wield wildly as kawaii nun-chucks. Protect yourself from evil spirits and minor peril.

We chose this suggestion as our winner because it's creative, cute & gives very specific instructions. It's also very possible to achieve, and although we don't condone violence, self-defence against evil spirits and minor peril using cute, soft charms is totally okay. We don't know any evil spirits personally, but we imagine the thought of a set of kawaii nun-chucks has them shook. Well done on this witty entry!
Quentin award for extra effort!
As a final note, we'd also like to give a shout out to Imly Links who went above & beyond for this competition by emailing us a list of 51 completely original uses for your charms, with a wide variety of creative & funny suggestions. We won't list them all here, but we liked the particular unique suggestions of 'for eating my homework' & 'to learn how to count'! Quentin himself insisted that this should also win a charm as a special award for going further than we expected!

That's all we've got for our Charms competition winners, but thank you to everyone who participated, and if you're a winner, you'll hear from us soon!
