The Best AMUSE Bunny!? - Our Top 5
The Best AMUSE Bunny!? - Our Top 5

Last week on the Tofu Cute Blog, we dove deep into the topic of Plushies with crowns. It was a bit silly, really, but that's what we do here. After polling people on Instagram and in real life, it seems like the hedgehog was an overall favourite for crown-wearing plushies. I think we can all agree that he deserves the recognition.

This week, I was originally going to put an end to pitting plush against plush and instead give some views on ramune, by continuing the series of blogs where we rank every flavour of the classic drink, but I think I'll save that one for the summer months, when we may have a few more flavours. As it's Easter weekend, however, it only makes sense to continue the trend of blogs about plush with a post all about my favourite AMUSE bunnies! There's a lot of them, and a lot of them are on sale as part of our Easter celebrations. But what are the best five, in my opinion?
Usadama Pom Pom Ribbon
Before Alpacasso came through and stole their thunder, These Usadama bunnies were the first ones to rock the pom poms as a fashion accessory. And it looks great on them!

I think this series is almost certainly underrated, because we had to do a whole video about, remember? They're one of the more unloved Usadama series, especially in giant plush form. But these bunnies are plump, soft and make great cuddling companions. They have tiny little paws which is super cute, and can be adopted in four classic bunny colours including Snowy White, Candy Pink, Grey & White and Ginger & White. They also come in keychain, small plush and giant sizes, so there's a different size of bunny for everyone. You might have overlooked this series because it's fairly simple compared to some of the really unique possibilities that AMUSE have presented to us before, but that's what makes it great! If you just want a fluffy bunny friend, this is the way to go - not everything needs to be complicated, and this an example of where simple is better!
Cotton Candies Sleepy Animals Small Plush - Pink Bunny
I'm including this particular bunny on this list because its one of the few non-loppy, non-Usadama bunnies that we stock, and they've been very popular! With good reason, I think - the design of this pink bunny is really cute and traditional, a lot like a classic stuffed toy that you might find in the west, but with a pastel 'yumekawa' look that you might find in other AMUSE plush series.

The plush itself has its eyes closed in a sleeping expression, so you can pose the plush in a lot of different ways and it'll always look like it's taking a comfortable nap, no matter where it is! There's something quite charming about this which is hard to explain, but I'm sure if you bring one into your life you'll find out what I mean very quickly too.
Korohamu Fun Friends - Ginger & White Bunny
Another unconventional bunny also makes the top of the list - the bunny from the Korohamu Fun Friends series. This set isn't the first time that other animals have been seen hanging out with Korohamu, but its definitely one of the cutest uses of the Korohamu style applied to another animal. Compared to the other types of bunnies on this list, its a lot more short and stout, with the tiniest feet that you ever did see on a bunny.

I like the bunny from this series because they look a little bit mischievous. They've got their hands together as if they're concocting some sort of devious plan. If you choose to adopt, keep your eye on this one - I can tell that they're a troublemaker, but they are very cute. This earns them 3rd place on the list.
Loppy Sleeping Day 2
Of the several series which depict bunnies sleeping, the Loppy Sleeping Day 2 series gives you the most options. Do you want a mint coloured bunny keychain? This series has got it. A lemon yellow small plush? That's here too. A snowy white giant plush? You got it.

Aside from just having a lot of variety, this series taps into the core appeal of a lot kawaii characters like Gudetama and Pusheen, who readily accept their own laziness. This series of Loppies has the bunnies committing to a whole day of sleeping, so every plush of this series features the bunnies lying down and relaxing, ready to sleep. I think that's a message we can all get behind, and that universal appeal is why I would it put it so high on this list. They're currently available at a discount in our Easter Sale!
Popo-Chan!
It makes sense that the top of this list there would be one of our brand new Popo-chan plushies, because they certainly deserve it with how adorable they are. In my humble opinion this first Popo-Chan series is a lot more appealing than Usadama & Loppy in terms of its basic design (even though Usadama and Loppy are both great). There's just something about this new Popo chan set that brings all the great ideas from other AMUSE bunny series together.

The distinguishing features of Popo-chan and their pals are their floppy ears in combination with their highly fluffy fur. They have cute eyes and a very neutral expression, but all of these things in combination make the Popo Chan plush a very cute one indeed.

They're available in keychain, small, and giant sizes in four unique colours. I personally like the pink colour the best, although one of the white types also has a trendy red & white bow at the top of their ear. Nice.

If this series isn't the best AMUSE Bunny plush we've ever seen then I don't know what is. Most of them are great, of course, but Popo chan really takes it to another level. It gets the Tofu Cute Blog's coveted 'Quentin Seal of Approval', too!
